Open Positions:

  • We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and professional individual to join our team as a Front Desk Reception/Administrative Services Clerk! If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, handling office tasks, and creating a welcoming environment, we want to hear from you!

    Location: This position works onsite 100% of the time at Chesnut Signs, Des Moines, IA

    Title of position: Administrative Services Clerk

    Position type: Full-time

    Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

    Starting pay range: $17 to $20 depending on experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Creates a positive first impression for customers on the phone and in person

    • Processes customer payments, various reports and spreadsheets, as well as work orders

    • Places orders for job specific and shop materials

    • Manages inventory

    • Manage appointments, meetings, and office calendars

    • Handle office supplies and maintain a clean, organized reception area

    • Provide administrative support to staff as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently and take initiative

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment

    • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is recommended but not required
